COLUMBIA, Mo. - After a two-hour delay to the start of the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships due to inclement weather, day one got underway at the University of Missouri's Audrey J. Walton Stadium.

In the lone event finishing today, freshman Elias Hakansson set a new UA all-time mark in the hammer throw recording a throw of 214 feet, 11 inches (65.50m).
