AUBURN, Ala. – Georgia’s Elizabeth Tepe recorded her second consecutive career-best in the hammer throw Friday to win the event during the first day of competition at the War Eagle Invitational.

Tepe’s best throw was 200 feet, 5 inches, which improves her No. 5 spot in the Georgia record books and moves her to No. 17 nationally and No. 2 in the Southeastern Conference.
