The highlight of the meet was senior co-captain Lacey Craker's (Baraboo, WI) performance in the weight throw.  Her heave of 61'2.25" (18.65m) not only won the event, but also set a new Brown school record. The prior mark was held by Brynn Smith '11 who threw 60'2.5" in 2009.

"Lacey has been incredibly consistent this season and we all knew she was ready to break out," said interim director of track & field Tim Springfield. "I can't say I was surprised, but a meter PR is definitely impressive. Lacey has worked incredibly hard over her career and it's great to see her continue to develop."
